Case Presentation

This transverse fracture of the right femur in an eight-months-old Shetland Sheepdog occurred during a romp with a much larger Labrador Retriever. The Sheltie bore no weight on the limb, and was presented to the Ridge Runner Veterinary Clinic within hours of the incident. There was considerable over-riding, and damage to surrounding soft tissue.
