The AO/ASIF Large External Fixator allows a wide variety of frame configurations and applications. These
sample frame illustrations represent only some suggested treatment options for the fractures shown. Fracture
pattern, soft tissue considerations, biomechanics and anticipated frame demands should all be considered
in determining the optimal frame for each individual case.
