Distal Locking with the Distal Aiming Device
The Distal Aiming Device is used when a Radiolucent Drive is
unavailable. The standard technique, used when locking the two
transverse distal holes in the Universal Tibial and Femoral Nails, is
shown here in use with the Femoral Nail. It can be varied in the tibial
nail by locking the distal A-P hole.
