Inserting the Reaming Rod Under image intensification, insert the 3.0 mm Reaming Rod into the canal, across the fracture site, and into the distal metaphysis. The Universal Chuck with T-Handle may be used to facilitate insertion. The Holding Forceps is used to control the reaming rod.

Note: The tip of the 950 mm long 3.0 mm Reaming Rod is bent 15° to facilitate passage through misaligned fragments; the ball (2 cm from the end) prevents damage to or jamming of the reamer head.
