Technique Note:
Place the distal and proximal pins and clamps first, attached by a rod. Because the Universal Clamp
allows correction in three planes, the fracture can be manipulated at this stage. Once reduction is
achieved and the nuts are tightened, additional pins can be inserted using the Open Clamp, as shown.
