Examples of Additional Frames: Three-Plane Frame

When constructing arthrodesis or osteotomy frames, a third rod can be added to "triangulate" the
frame, as shown.
Note: This bilateral frame is triangulated to provide sufficient stability in
the sagittal plane and to allow for symmetrical compression across the arthrodesis.
