The Faculty of this Course is composed of orthopaedic surgeons and operating room nurses distinguished in the care of the orthopaedic trauma patient.

GOAL

The goal of this course is to provide an educational opportunity for operating room personnel who participate in the care of the orthopaedic trauma patient. Course topics will be presented utilizing a dynamic combination of lectures and hands-on practical sessions. The practical sessions will provide the participants with the opportunity to take an active role in the fixation of artificial bone fractures under the direction of faculty lab instructors.

These Operating Room Personnel Courses are educational non-profit functions made possible through the support of and cooperation with the AO ASIF. Financial and technical support provided by Synthes.

ACCREDITATION

AO North America Foundation is accredited as a provider of continuing education in nursing by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

This recognition does not imply that the AO North America Foundation or the ANCC Commission on Accreditation approves or endorses any product included in the activity.

Each course has been awarded 16.5 Contact Hours.

TUITION

Tuition for either course is $250.00

Tuition includes: Course materials, continental breakfast, lunches, refreshments and reception.
