The Allgöwer Trauma Fellowship
Experienced AO North America surgeons with demonstrated academic excellence are invited to apply for the Martin Allgöwer Trauma Fellowship. This fellowship is granted annually and consists of a minimum three-month and maximum six-month stay at a European AO trauma center, with round-trip travel and living expenses provided for the recipient and his/her spouse. The completed application should include an application form (available from AO North America), two letters of reference, a curriculum vitae, and a statement from the applicant outlining the reasons he/she wishes to participate in the fellowship, and giving his/her location preference.
One fellowship is awarded each year. The deadline for 2001 applications is November 15, 2001.
