Martin Allgöwer Trauma Fellow Selected for 2001

The AONA Martin Allgöwer Trauma Fellowship Selection Committee has recently announced that Dean Lorich, M.D., has been chosen as the recipient of this year's fellowship. Dr. Lorich trained at the University of Pennsylvania and did an orthopaedic trauma fellowship with Professor David Helfet at the Hospital for Special Surgery. He currently is Chief of Orthopaedics at Jacobi Medical Center (Albert Einstein College of Medicine) in New York City, and an AO faculty member and a member of AO North America. Dr. Lorich will begin his fellowship in June. He plans to spend six weeks with Professor Ganz in Bern and six weeks in Hannover with Professors Kretteck and Pohlemann.
