The Comprehensive Spine Course will integrate both neurosurgical and orthopaedic spinal concepts and techniques. Practical exercises are included.
Enrollment in this Course is open to neurological and orthopaedic spine surgeons.
At the conclusion of this Course, participants should be able to:
During both Courses, "Fireside Discussions" will be held. Small groups will be formed to allow a unique opportunity for both the participant and Faculty to present cases for interactive discussion. Participants are requested to bring clinical cases on zip disc or CD for these discussions.
The AO North America is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
The AO North America designates this educational activity for a maximum of 25 credit hours (Comprehensive Spine Course or Interactive Spine Course) category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the educational activity.
Off-label/Experimental Discussions

AO North America requires the Faculty for this Course to disclose unlabeled uses of products. It is the Faculty's responsibility to disclose when an unlabeled use of a commercial product, or an investigational use not yet approved for any purpose will be discussed during an educational activity.
AO North America relies upon invited Faculty to provide educational content that is objective and as free of bias as possible. In this context, Faculty are expected to indicate any commercial relationship relevant to their presentations at this CME activity.

Enrollment is limited to residents who have attained a PGY 5 and above. A letter from the Program Director must accompany the registration form and payment to qualify for the reduced Resident tuition.
Tuition includes: Registration and laboratory materials, reception, continental breakfasts, coffee breaks, Thursday's lunch, and refreshments during Fireside Discussions.

Cancellations received after this date will be subject to a $150.00 cancellation fee. No course tuition refund will be issued for cancellations received after July 24, 2003.
