COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Course is intended for instructional training in the operative treatment of fractures, nonunions, osteotomies and facial reconstruction involving the mandible, maxilla and midface according to AO ASIF principles and techniques.

The Course is open to attending surgeons and residents in Oral and Maxillofacial, Otolaryngology-Head and Neck, and Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery.

Lectures by distinguished surgeons will be combined with demonstrations, videotapes, discussions and practical exercises. A "hands-on" approach to learning will be emphasized.

ACCREDITATION

The AO North America is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) to provide continuing medical education for physicians.


CREDIT HOURS

The AO North America designates this educational activity for a maximum of 12.0 Category 1 credits toward the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that he/she actually spent in the activity.

TUITION

Tuition for this Course will be:
$275.00 - attending surgeons
$95.00 - residents (with letter from Program Chairman)

Until official confirmation is received, do not consider yourself registered in this Course.

Course and laboratory materials, continental breakfasts, lunches and refreshments.


COURSE LOCATION

Room reservations are the responsibility of the individual registrant. A block of rooms has been reserved at a rate of $99 single/double occupancy per night plus tax at The Seattle Marriott Hotel, Sea Tac Airport, 3201 South 176th Street, Seattle, WA 98188. Rooms will be held until April 25, 2003. After this date, rooms will be on an as-available basis.

Registration is required in advance, as seating is limited. Immediate response is encouraged.

Registration deadline is April 25, 2003.
Registration fee is $275.00 for attending surgeons and $95.00 for residents (with letter from Program Chairman). Fee includes all course and lab materials, continental breakfasts, lunches and refreshments. Refunds (less $25.00 administration fee) will be issued if written cancellation notice is received by May 8, 2003.
